Hi, what's up?
you would probably think I'll be having lots of fun, eh? no, you are wrong!
it's boring..here, to be completely honest with you.
this town, called Iraklio, hasn't got much to offer.. I haven't even been swimming yet! well. plus we've been getting up midday, which means we dont have enough time together... since john goes to work about 4 pm....
It's interesting... the life of Greeks here though.
People start their day not so early...
Everything seems to stop in the afternoon, about 3 pm. Because it's so hot. people take 3-4 hrs time off. Shop owers close their shops in the middle of the afternoon... guess what time they have lunch, at 2 pm! (only stupid tourists have lunch at noon) what is more is that they start having dinner well after 9 pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and their night goes on way after midnight....
their favourite passtime would be staring at people passing by - which I become good at, by the way.... they would be sitting at a coffee shop, drinking their favourite coffee, Frappe - very sweet ice coffee, which is served **free**with a glass of water... (why? cos Frappe's just too strong to drink on its own...)
anyways, just to tell you that I'm not having as much fun as you would expect. hehe.
(because john's working, and i'm alone killing time by watching some korean film on my laptop at a hotel room.)
but hopefully, we'll go to this 'beautiful' beach called MATALA tommorrow..... and have some fun!
