Peace

Philippians 4:7 - "The peace of God, which passes all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in
Christ Jesus."   There are so many things happening
almost every day which would naturally upset or
distress us.  The promise  we have in prayer is not
that we shall instantly be given what we want, but
that the peace of God will guard our hearts and
thoughts.  So, the quietness of peaceful thoughts is
the first answer God gives to us.  If our thoughts are
peaceful, we are peaceful, too.

Colossians 3:15 - "Let the peace of God rule in your
hearts."  If we open the windows in the morning, the
light pours in.  We do not have to ask it to come in.
It will come in if we will let it.  It is the same
with the peace of God.  It will rule in our hearts if
we simply let it.  

John 14:1 - "Let not your heart be troubled."  May you
have peaceful minds and hearts today.
